Below is a list of upcoming events for both the Coffee Lab & Enactus. The Coffee Lab is located in Larrance Academic Center (LAC) which is located at 309 E. School St. in Naperville, IL. Events listed below are open to the public and located in LAC unless specified otherwise.

Homecoming Weekend at The Coffee Lab
Celebrate Homecoming Weekend with two unique, coffee-centered experiences hosted by The Coffee Lab at North Central College! Whether you're a coffee enthusiast or just curious about the craft, we’ve brewed up something special for you.
☕ Friday, October 3 | Live Roasting Demonstration | 3–4 PM
Curious About Coffee Roasting? Come See It in Action!
Have you ever wondered what goes into roasting a batch of coffee? Join us in The Coffee Lab for a live demonstration and get a behind-the-scenes look at how green beans transform into the rich, aromatic coffee you love.
You'll learn about the science of heat and airflow, the art of timing and tasting, and the full journey from green bean to brew.
Our roasting team will guide you through the entire process—plus, you won’t leave empty-handed.
👉 All attendees receive a bag of freshly roasted coffee!

Need an Afternoon Pick-Me-Up?
Stop by for a special Espresso Pop-Up, where our student baristas will be serving handcrafted espresso drinks—including our crowd-favorite original: “The Chippy”, a chocolatey, refreshing blend of Xela Chocolates and our Guatemala roast.
Come taste what our students have been roasting and brewing. Whether you're a die-hard coffee fan or just want to try something new, you’re in for a treat!

📣 North Central Markets Are Back!
Get ready to shop, connect, and celebrate creativity—North Central Markets are returning this fall! Join us for the first market of the year on Wednesday, September 24 from 3–7 p.m. on Jefferson Lawn (in front of Wentz Science Center).
These vibrant, community-driven markets are open to the public and feature a diverse lineup of student, faculty, and staff entrepreneurs selling everything from fine art and handmade pottery to upcycled fashion. Whether you're browsing or selling, it's the perfect place to support local talent and enjoy the campus spirit.
